As long as I've been a musician, I've been fascinated by pianos! Since my early 'teens, before I ever started tuning them, I've been trying to build piano-type instruments — and designing new piano mechanisms. Within a few short years, I had acquired a few pianos of my own; they were "practice" fixer-uppers, and really wonderful learning experiences.
Fast forward to the fall of 2015: After a few years of practicing on my own pianos, and being hired by a few friends with out-of-tune pianos, I decided to start tuning and restoring pianos as a large part of my professional activity. I am currently working towards obtaining my Guild certification, and I am fully equipped to tune, recondition, and service all pianos — and to carefully dive into each product with great gumption!
I have tuned regularly for prominent Maritime organizations such as the Confederation Centre of the Arts, Holland College, and numerous theaters and music halls.
